CCIM, I am coming!

I went to Hanoi on Dec. 4th and came back to Taipei on 6th. Trip was short, and I stayed only in Hanoi for two nights by compressing all meetings in single working day from breakfast in early morning to late night. Why I was so eager to be back? It was all for the pre-class orientation of CCIM on Dec. 7th, which I had been expecting for almost one year.

I arrived at classroom earlier than scheduled with an exciting mood. To be a student once again is such a happy thing to me. From the roster I got, all classmates are top management as expected. Most of them are of background of real estate, bank, architect, building constructor and land developer.

In the pre-class of CI-101 Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate, instructor Michael Tzeng demonstrated how to use T bar and HP financial calculator to reckon up PV, PMT, FV….etc. Except the summary of investment analysis, we had also learned the Cash Flow Model, Time Value of Money, Return of Investment, Investment Value and Investment Performance. It is not an easy job to us to digest so much information in one day, but I could tell definitely that every one had enjoyed the learning process very much. I can’t wait but am ready for the 5 days course of CI-101 from Dec. 14th to Dec. 18th.

What is a CCIM? (quoted from www.ccim.com)
“A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. A CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, and is among an elite corps of 8,600 professionals who hold the CCIM designation across North America and more than 30 countries.”

The thing which brought me to this expensive and tight grogram is my core belief to work smart not hard. To me, how to work smart is to work as a professional for professionals. I desire to use only my brain but not my sweat to make money, and I can work as long as I’d like.
CCIM is known as the most valuable license in Taiwan. It could be a master pass to link commercial real estate in Taiwan with international market.
To be a CCIM is a smart way for me to achieve my goal.
